This listing is for this handmade French tufted customized Roche Bobois inspired Mah Jong daybed mattress as shown in the photos. The mat pictured is the exact mat you will receive. Our daybeds are inspired by the well-known brand Roche Bobois. We stuffed them with high-intensity memory foam with no chemials.

The filling is completely non-toxic, hypoallergenic, dust-mite free, sustainable and biodegrable. Our memory foams are denser than other standard polyurethane foams. High density memory foam used in mattresses are typically manufactured in densities ranging anywhere from less than 1.5lb/ft3 to 8lb/ft3. Very few manufacturers use memory foams, not to mention high density memory foams.

Memory foams also vary significantly in price based on their thickness. As the thickness increases, the price usually triples or quadruples, even quintuples. Memory foams from Novobeds range from 3-4inches. Memory foams from Tempur-Pedic ranges from 3 - 7.2 inches.

The memory foam we use has a thickness of 7.5 inch with a density of 2.81lb/ft3. Polyurethane foam is a product of the petroleum industry and is the most common foam used in couch cushions. This will typically begin to lose the sofa shape and resilience in 13 year.

We have been offering customized hand stuffed tufted French mattress/cushion since 2018. All edges of the mattress, including the top and bottom panels, are tufted by hand.
